LOAD ROUTE
Unlike version 6 of
Canal Planner, routes are now saved to the database rather than a file.. In order to load a route, select one of
the saved routes listed in the drop down menu and click ‘
You can load the route from the drop down list on the toolbar or by using the menu option File | Load.
You will see that you have the option of loading a version 6.0 route or an version 7.0 route. If you select a version 6 route, you will need to browse to the file location of you saved version 6 route. The route will be converted to version 7 format and added to the database. Once you have done this, you need not convert it again, instead use the new saved version.
